Connecting to Command|VPN
- Open Windows Settings
- Select Network & Internet
- Select VPN
- Select Add a VPN Connection
- Fill out the form with the information provided to you:
- VPN Provider: Windows
- Connection Name: CommandVPN
- Server Name: provided to you, ends with commandvpn.com
- VPN Type: L2TP/IPsec with pre-shared key
- Pre-shared key: provided to you
- Type of sign-in info: User name and password
- Optionally, specify your vpn user name and password: provided to you
- Select Save
- Change default setting to only send private traffic through VPN, and not use vpn for all traffic (split-tunnel)
- Select Change adapter options
- Right click on CommandVPN, select Properties
- Select the Networking tab, highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (do not uncheck it), and then select the Properties button
- Select Advanced
- Uncheck Use default gateway on remote network, Click OK on all three windows
- Select Change adapter options
- Select Connect on CommandVPN
You are now connected!
